Zel & Leo

Our love story began during senior year of high school where we first met in health class. Leo was shy and somewhat of an introvert, so it was a while before we actually considered ourselves friends. The following semester, we ended up in the same Spanish class and sat fairly close to each other. After overhearing Zel talk to her BFF Rachelle about transferring to another class, he decided to follow her — of course playing it off as it was a “complete coincidence” that he too ended up in the same class.  Leo knew he couldn’t let his crush slip away, and was also too shy to ask her out on a date. It took 15 years, but he finally admitted to following her! We became closer friends throughout the semester. Over time that friendship blossomed into love at the most unexpected place and time. He followed her to homemaking class in high school, and she followed him to San Antonio during the college years. We’ve been inseparable ever since! Over the past several years, our love for one another has truly laid the foundation for our journey to marriage. Without a doubt,  we’re each other’s <nerdy movie reference> density… I mean destiny 🙂
